Our baby.

You're only the size of a grape,

but I can't even believe you're that big.

I'm almost positive I've never been happier

to have a grape in my tummy in my life.

I've only had you for almost 10 weeks,

and already I feel like I've known you

and been expecting you for forever.

We've waited for you

and we love you.

The past month of your and my life

together has been rough.

I've been sick and nauseous every minute.

You've given me a strange diet.

I've actually lost weight instead of gained.

But I don't even mind,

because I'd already do anything for you.

And I know that this is for your good.

And mine.

At our last doctor's appointment we

saw the first glimpse of you.

We heard your fast little heartbeat.

Tears filled our eyes
and joy filled our hearts.

You're alive! You're coming!

We can't wait.

We thank our Heavenly Father
for giving us you.
We'll see you soon.

It’s been a great year for Air and I, although I’m sure I wouldn’t have said that during many difficult moments. Looking back, I can’t help but just be grateful for what has come from the year. Two sisters getting married. Spending time with all of our family members and friends. The beauty of the world and the seasons.

And a pregnancy. At last.

.Our Christmas t-shirts

This Christmas Air and I made a deal with the pajama elf to bring the family some cool t-shirts we made.

I know you can’t see them very well in these pictures, but they were awesome!

The family loved them so much we were all crying and hugging after we opened them.

That doesn’t happen every year…

And then I called my parents and heard them open their shirts as well.

About the shirts

.two weeks

I finally did it!

I gave my two weeks notice at work last week.
and I have been feeling at complete peace with that choice ever since.

I really have loved this job for the past year & a half. And I do have lots of awesome friends there.

I'm really going to miss that.

But.....

I can no longer work for that manager (who recently started blaming every problem on me).

I don't think anyone deserves to be belittled and devalued as much as she does.

It just isn't worth it.

Also, Air needs me to help him out with the financial side of his job.
So hopefully I can take some stress off of him!

It's gonna be a great change, and I'm excited for it!

I love the intro to the movie Joe Versus the Volcano where it portrays perfectly the experience of being miserable in a job. haha Such a great flick!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!

I'm so glad it's here.

although I don't feel as though I've spent any time waiting for it this year.

it just came!

my friend Nichole said it very well when she noted that working in retail makes it hard to enjoy this time of year.

generally people are not more nice at this time of year.

no matter how much I wish they would be...

retail has also almost ruined Christmas music for me.

but you know, I love Christmas music

I love to begin singing the Christmas hymns at church again.

I love to hear new versions of old songs.

and altogether new songs.
