.Beehive State .part 2

Our Third day in Utah was Pioneer Day. Air’s family came down to Utah for the week with their cousins as well, since they had a free week at some condos in Park City.

We organized a party with both families since we were all in one place for the first time since we were married! We (somehow) stuffed 37 people into my parent’s home! Whew!

And we ate a delicious meal provided by my wonderful mother and sisters.

And the usual favorite party game in my family is Tetris Attack on the Super Nintendo. Best. Game. Ever.

We went for a walk to my old elementary school, and then we pulled out the fireworks! This year was better than ever since it’s suddenly legal in Utah to shoot off BIG fireworks that normally would be illegal. It is the most thrilling thing to be sitting so close, as your own firework shoots up into the air above you.

I’m definitely a firework addict.

Looking at these pictures makes me so happy that we were able to get so many of our family members together again. Family is so incredibly important to us and I just loved to be able to spend time with mine again… Most of our trip this year consisted of visiting with my brothers and sisters. They are, afterall, some of the best people in the world!
