I recently discovered that some people had never noticed that the picture at the top of this blog has our faces edited into it. It made me wonder—Have you noticed?

I’ve been in love with Norman Rockwell’s artwork since I can remember and I’ve collected his calendars and pictures over the years. Something about the americana style with kids and lovers looking so perky and lanky makes life seem so simple and happy to me. Not to mention the perfect retrospective look they give you into the early 1900’s. So far, for this blog, Air and I have edited three of his pictures to have our faces in them…

And you know what!?? We’re not even close to being done with these yet! We absolutely love channeling our creativity and fashioning things like this… and then being able to share them with you is just the cherry on top of the humongous cake.

Have I told you yet how awesome it is to feel a baby kicking in your belly all day?

And to be only four months away from meeting this spaghetti squash?

Its probably the best thing ever.

Not so awesome, however, is how awesomely fat I am.
I mean, have you seen my behind!? Yikes.

At our ultrasound today the baby wouldn't cooperate again.

Although we did get to see his/her face!!!

So as a punishment we are calling it Pat.

Like from the silly movie which you may or may not have seen? (you should probably see it)

We may be forced to get ANOTHER ultrasound! $$$!! (I've already had four free ones this pregnancy. hehe)

Anyway, Air and I have had a lot going on over the last couple of weeks! Air has been working like a mad man with some extra loads of responsibility at work. I got a new calling in the Young Women as the laurel advisor. Also, we're still trying to get our taxes done. Goodness, they get more complicated every year.

But, we're very excited for this weekend's General Conference!!! Yayay!

This winter has been lovely.

And I NEVER say that about winter!

Every winter since I've been in Edmonton has had

days with temperatures around -50°C (-58°F).

This winter didn't have a single one of those days!

In fact! Our shower pipes haven't been frozen for

one single morning!

Absolutely lovely!

Gosh! Another post about this pregnancy? Are you guys sick of this?

To be honest, it’s all going by way too fast for me!
It's obviously our first time and we're a little excited.

This week our baby is as long as a BANANA from head to toe!

And I think I’ve been feeling banana kicks?? Still hard to say for sure…

Lately I feel really sad that I can’t be near my Mom during this pregnancy. I wish that I could sit down with my family and friends and share all of this excitement with them.

For me, there really is no option but to blog my life away. It’s the best way to feel close to you guys and let you feel involved in my life. I miss you so much!
