.Gift idea anyone?

I just got an email from uddercovers.com. They are giving away free nursing cover-ma-jigs! I got one of these last time they had this promotion and it worked like a charm (no, I'm not nursing nor soon-to-be). I know that lots of you are having babies now or plan to have more soon? Or you might just want to give this to someone as a gift? (Christmas!)

DIRECTIONS:

Go to uddercovers.com, click on "Shop Now", select the product you would like and you will automatically be directed to the center of the page where you can enter in the promo code. Type in 'Christmas' and it will bring your product total to $0! You can use the code more than once - you just have to open a new browser/window to do so. Good Luck!

This promotion gives you a $32.00 discount off your total order no matter what you put in your cart. It's valid once per transaction; you just have to pay $8.95 shipping, I believe.

Let me know what you think if you get one, would you? Merry Christmas friends!

.methodology

The best way to learn scripture mastery is to sing them in the shower.

And that's how we do it, every day.

I've memorized 12 scriptures that way so far this semester!

My seminary kids think that's crazy... they laugh at me every time I pass one off
{Yes, I told them}

Works like a charm. Seriously.

And my showers may or may not be substantially longer since I've been doing this... no comment

.vehicular motion

No, we couldn't really afford it; but when a really sweet deal falls into your hands you have to jump on it sometimes

Right? I think that's right?

Air's sister Tara didn't need her old car; so his parents let us have it so long as we paid the shop for something called a "distributor"(?). I obviously know a lot about car parts.

Aren't we lucky??

It will be pretty nice to have another car. We've had a few instances lately where Air and I have needed to be in two different places at once, but couldn't because of our one car.
Once I have a job it will probably be even more useful.
Did I mention it has snow tires?? :)

blessings blessings everywhere.

.star-struck

This is really pathetic, but today I had a moment where I felt a little star-struck... on facebook of all places.

See, I have this friend, Jess, who I used to work with at the Math Lab at UVU (back when it was UVSC). I later got him a job working with me and my friends at Wheeler Farm's day camp for a summer. He was great with the kids and he would bring his guitar and play them songs and he would draw them pictures. I was pretty proud of myself for picking such a good day camp worker, since I was a head counselor.

These days he is getting more and more well-known and established as an amazing artist and musician down in Utah.

Currently you can see some of his artwork and enter a giveaway here on cjane's Provo blog. If you haven't heard of the infamous Utah blogger cjane, you probably haven't been blogging long... or you just don't surf around looking at blogs during your free time? (that's what I do)

Anyway, here's what happened to me on facebook today:

I totally blushed when I saw that she read my comment and commented back.

And that's the pathetic part.

the end.

.he loves me

Let me tell you how I know Air loves me.

He found our camera yesterday (that he bought before we were married) in the bottomless abyss of my purse. He turned it on, only to find that the little screen was completely destroyed. Something in my purse must have put too much pressure on it...

RIP camera.
You were a good camera.

This was obviously a devastating thing for us to discover. You can probably tell if you read this blog that we really enjoy taking pictures. And we take them. Often.

But he didn't even get angry at me for carelessly keeping it in my purse unprotected. He just got online and started looking for a new one. Well, we can't really afford any camera that would be worth buying right now. So, for now, we'll just use our backup camera (that I got before we were married). It's not as good... but it works?

And here are some photos of what we've been up to these last few weeks (other than fighting off the flu and cold):

we tore out our shower--which has been falling apart since we installed it last year.

It was a disgusting mess under there.

It only took a week! ...so we've been showering at other people's houses lately!
And here is the new and improved version (without the doors):

It's beautiful! Thanks Air and Kevin!
