.sister winter + a movie

This winter has been lovely.

And I NEVER say that about winter!

Every winter since I've been in Edmonton has had

days with temperatures around -50°C (-58°F).

This winter didn't have a single one of those days!

In fact! Our shower pipes haven't been frozen for

one single morning!

Absolutely lovely!

.20 weeks

Gosh! Another post about this pregnancy? Are you guys sick of this?

To be honest, it’s all going by way too fast for me!
It's obviously our first time and we're a little excited.

This week our baby is as long as a BANANA from head to toe!

And I think I’ve been feeling banana kicks?? Still hard to say for sure…

Lately I feel really sad that I can’t be near my Mom during this pregnancy. I wish that I could sit down with my family and friends and share all of this excitement with them.

For me, there really is no option but to blog my life away. It’s the best way to feel close to you guys and let you feel involved in my life. I miss you so much!

Especially you, Ma&Pa…

Our ultrasound on Tuesday was great, we got to see the
baby's head, spine, heart, arms, legs and FEET kicking around!

But you know what, we could only see the back of it's little head.
And you know what, we couldn't see anything gender related.

I was bummed.

We scheduled another ultrasound for the end of the month.

Please baby, let us see something this time!??

Air was really sneaky with my iphone in the ultrasound room.

What? There’s a big sign that says no cell phones? hehe

Here we are at 19 weeks

Half way through this and feeling pretty fine.

Anyone else (who's been pregnant) experienced any nasty 'round ligament pain'? Ouch!

You know what? We'll be finding out about the "anatomy" of this heirloom tomato REAL soon!

.winter market

It is so nice to have a farmers market that runs all year round here in Edmonton!

We had a fun day with some family last Saturday.

We bought nothing, but loved everything.

Especially all of the free samples. Oh yeah! *high kick!
