We had been dying to take Ames to a zoo for his first time all summer, and we knew he’s at the perfect age where he’d LOVE seeing the animals. My sister Heather and her 3 boys were excited to come with us and my brother Tyler’s family too (all 5 kids!). Hogle Zoo is really great, but it will be even greater once they’re done with all the renovations. It’s gonna be spectacular. Oh my goodness we had so much fun, and we took so many pictures.

I saw a tiny glimpse of Tyler, Erik and Kiersten. But I didn't see Alex or Missy anywhere. Are you sure they came?
