It’s been a crazy week in our home, just hoping we can manage to put it all together again before the babe comes. I can’t help but feel a little overwhelmed sometimes… you know?
But mostly just very excited!
I had so much fun garage sale shopping with my Mother-in-Law this week. Getting my baby supplies in order pretty successfully, thank goodness!
And then I came home to some beautifully finished ceilings. Everything else in the house was completely trashed. But oh the ceilings. The ceilings look fantastic!
(Seriously though, t-r-a-s-h-e-d. As in, now I have to paint the walls again. One step forward and two steps back, right?)
Can I just tell you how excited I am to have a little boy running around who will quite possibly look a lot like this?
Please let this baby look just like my Air?
Can he be just as smart and funny as my Air too??
Thanks.

I've been away from Air-bear for the last three days. Staying with my in-laws since our home renovation took on a new fume smell this week with the ceilings getting done.
We went to a prenatal class this weekend at our hospital… it took the ENTIRE DAY, but it was maybe worth it because I’m feeling more prepared and aware of what we’ll do when the time comes.

I taught my first sharing time at church today and I had a lot of fun making my object lesson late last night. Meet ‘Reverent Wendy’—her arms, legs, mouth, ears, eyes, and mind all come off so that we could talk about how to be reverent with each part. She turned out so cute I had three little primary kids come and ask if they could keep her after church. It was awesome!

The heat wave seems to have passed this weekend and we’ve had some wicked thunder storms. On top of that, I love my neon green toenails! Thanks Tessa!
It’s been hot this week. Too hot to handle! Popsicles, fans and the cool basement are my only relief. This particular popsicle is cotton candy flavored. Oh so good!
But the renovation must go on… I’ve spent this week painting and cleaning… and SWEATING!
and sweating
and sweating
and sweating even now.
Oh, and drinking water. Don’t worry so much!
Last night I was so grateful when the sun finally started setting and there was a cool breeze coming through our backyard. Oh the simple pleasures.
Poor Air has to wear long pants for work, and run around all over the place all day. At least I get to see him now and then when he stops by!
Of course I LOVE summer—I just love it more when it’s not making me melt all over the floor in a big chubby pregnant pile of sweat.
By the way, I’m 8 months pregnant! I had a little panic attack when I realized that the other day. Packing up that hospital bag!
