We are so excited to have Ames here this year for his very first Halloween.

I made him Peter Pan!

Air and I had costumes too… I already had a blue dress to be Wendy, but I pretty much failed at finishing Air’s Captain Hook costume… so we’re pretending it never happened. Oh well.

I apologize if you were looking forward to seeing all of us dressed up again this year, at least you get to see the cutest little Peter Pan ever!

We had so much fun at a Halloween party with a bunch of our friends this weekend!

I love love love Halloween!

.life's been happening

Sometimes I think that Ames’ life is very similar to that movie, Knight and Day. You know? It’s the one where Tom Cruise drugs Cameron Diaz’s character while he takes her around with him all over the place. She goes in and out of consciousness in all these hilarious different places.

I don’t drug Ames, he just sleeps a lot. Especially while we’re driving around. I wonder what he’s thinking when he opens his eyes and he’s suddenly in a shopping cart at wal-mart or back in the car or wearing a new diaper..
 One thing is for sure about this boy though, he loves to be home! Specifically in his own room. He is always happy when he’s laying on his changing table or in his own crib.

I have about a million pictures of things we’ve done lately, but I haven’t been able to find time to blog about them all! That’s life with a baby I guess.

    

Last weekend we made a trip down to Calgary with our family for the open house of the new Calgary LDS Temple! It was so awesome to walk through the beautiful temple with Ames in my arms. It is so wonderful that there’s another temple close by us here!

We couldn’t believe all the snow they were getting in Calgary already!

We got Peters milk shakes of course and then we had dinner with our friends the Harkers. Wish we lived closer to those guys… their cute little boys just loved Ames. 

 

This was Ames’ first road trip and the farthest he’s been away from home so far!

Sadly, this week Ames has his first cold… poor babe. We’re hoping he feels better by the weekend so we can put his cute Halloween costume on him and party!

My Mother gave Ames these tiny sandals. I knew they wouldn’t fit him for long, he’s growing so fast.

I made sure he wore them as much as he possibly could before it was too late.

And I took pictures to prove it.

btw. Thanks for all the expert comments on my last post! I love you guys! Lots of helpful ideas… maybe it is the temperature. Next time I’ll try warming the bottle up a bit more and have Air give it to him and see how it goes.

 

I do have some “udder covers” but maybe another brand has larger ones. And um, I had no idea that Ikea had a mother’s room!?? That blows my mind.
