My parents came and spent a week with us right after Ames was born. It was so wonderful to have them here! We haven’t had the pleasure since our wedding reception 4 years ago.
This is only their 26th grandchild, but its the very first time they’ve EVER spent a whole week with one as a newborn! We’re so lucky we got to have them! It was so much fun!
My Mother is wonderful… She happily did the dishes and laundry every day, changed diapers, made lunches, and held Ames as much as she could!
My Dad mowed our neglected forest lawn and helped out with all kinds of renovating work.
My parents would never complain, but Air and I were kinda worried that they would go the whole week just working and helping us out at home—so we made sure to give them a fun tour of our city!
Um. We love Edmonton!
We made sure they tried a poutine and Tim Horton’s donuts. A true Canadian vacation.
This was Ames' first outing. He is so cute in his car seat....
And we got to visit the Gusa’s for dinner too! I’m pretty sure this cherry dessert my Mother-in-law made was the best. thing. ever.
