Look at me! Blogging again like a good little blogger. So it looks like my last post was my 500th… and, to me, that’s kindof an accomplishment! It only took 7 years to get here. haha This gusagram is all about our summer so far… and boy has it been a beautiful summer. It’s going by faster than fast though and that kills me.

↓↓↓Ames loves running around at the mall, especially when there are kids to make friends with//I made cabbage rolls for the first time and WOW… I’ve got an amazing recipe on my hands if anyone wants it.↓↓↓

↓↓↓We are all about the new beautiful library by our house these days. There are lots of programs going on every week plus an awesome children’s area↓↓↓

 

↓↓↓This next section is all about the day we spent at the dinosaur exhibit with Rhys and Alexis. It was so much fun. These two boys are over the moon to be anywhere together, especially a dinosaur exhibit I tell ya. ↓↓↓

    

↓↓↓breakfast burritos have become one of our regulars. Eggs, sausage, homemade guacamole, cheese, bacon, salsa, sour cream. I fold them up and throw them in some cheese on the frying pan… yum↓↓↓

 

↓↓↓Eugene Levy? Is that you?//Our water babies could stay out in this pool all day↓↓↓

 

↓↓↓Air’s gourmet burgers are amazing… This guy never cooks the same thing twice and it’s incredible every time//Ames was so obsessed with a new toy he got from Grandma Gusa, I caught him waking up just to play with it in his room.↓↓↓

 

↓↓↓cousins and popsicles//finding frogs at Aunt Tamera’s. I couldn’t believe he wanted to hold it.↓↓↓

 

↓↓↓shopping for supplies for our deck renovation at Lowe’s//on 7eleven day Air’s family was over helping us work on our deck all day in the heat, so I ran and got everyone free slurpees… although they deserved so much more than that.↓↓↓

.Canada Day 2015

Hey internet. So we went to the Zoo on Canada Day with Air’s family, and although it may not seem like much to anyone but me, this was huge and a total dream come true to have Air out of the house with us for the first time in SIX WEEKS. Possibly the longest weeks of my life?

Anyway, this was our first time at the Edmonton Valley Zoo and we were pretty impressed. It was simply the best day we’ve had in way too many days. We were all just so happy to be there—it was a blast.

We rented a wheelchair for Air since he really can’t walk or stand much these days (sitting isn't great for him either haha). Everyone was so awesome to take turns pushing him around the park all day… ↓↓↓

In Canada its illegal to do private fireworks at home… This is such a huge bummer for me since that was always my favorite thing about the 4th of July growing up. Soooo this year instead we shot some cans of beer (um yuck! (Air’s Dad found them abandoned somewhere)) with a bb gun. It was a lot like watching fountain fireworks when the beer would go shooting out all over the yard. Only way stinky haha ↓↓↓
