I have been all over the place since we bought this house, looking for the things I need. For, like, free.
I’ve found some great things so far and it makes me giddy to think of how much money I’ve saved and how much I love it!
Here’s a little list of some things I’ve found:
office chair. off kijiji for $25
fold-up baby bath. kijiji for $5
crib/toddler bed. kijiji for $60
changing pad w/cover. kijiji for $7
u-shaped desk. kijiji for $80
chair. kijiji for $170
baby swing. garage sale for $50
kitchen table (with leaf extension). garage sale for $100
Isn’t that awesome!?? I’ve still got more stuff to find though …like kitchen chairs and bar stools …and a rocking chair …and night stands …and a high chair …and a baby saucer
Ok, so I guess I still need a lot. Hmm… too bad garage sale season is over for a while (I’ve never sounded more like my Mom in my life!)

We're so similar Amber! I am super cheap too, I'll spend months looking at craigslist for just the right thing for a fraction of the price, because I just can't bring myself to pay full price! You've done great work, well done. I have empty rooms too, there is nothing wrong with that, may as well wait and get what you want! I wish the world was a smaller place and our family could all be closer to hang out! Someday.
