Amesy boy’s a’growin! He took his first steps alone last Sunday at his Grandma’s house. We were all having so much fun making him walk and cheering him on, by the end of it he was up to taking about 6 steps! Here’s a little video:

And here’s another video of Ames saying “tah” (car). It’s his favorite word so he says it for everything now.

As for the picture at the top of this post, we think it’s hilarious when Ames grabs onto the handlebar in his car seat… and it’s especially cute when he falls asleep like that.

We've been having a crazy week over here and now we're just feeling extremely blessed to be coming out of it still employed (after company cutbacks) and alive (after major tornado warnings on Wed). This weekend couldn't have come soon enough!

Although this is what's out my window right now... I'm waiting for some sunshine!
