Ames looks like he’s counting the months in this picture… we are all just watching them fly by. It’s freaky and incredible and exciting and horrible. In just 2 more months I’ll have a one year old?? MEEP!
Ames can do so much now. He learned to crawl in a day (May 12th to be exact) and has just been crawling everywhere ever since. He’s this close to standing alone… in fact, he lets go all the time just to test it out, then he starts wobbling after a second when he gets scared. He says words! “mama”, “dada”, “tah”, (car), “da” (dog). He likes to copy lots of the sounds and actions we make too. His favorite toy is a stuffed owl from his Aunt Elisa. He gives it the HUGEST kisses all the time. He also loves our iphones… He’s allergic to eggs (for now) and had that crazy rash break out over his entire body. It was horrible, but luckily it only lasted about 5 days and didn’t seem to bother him.
This boy… he loves going to the park. Heck, he loves anything that we do together. He’s just a happy guy.
According to everyone, our next child is going to be a terror… we really lucked out with this one.

Yep! Number 2 will be a terror. At least ours was. I was pretty sure he and I were never going to be friends. But that's all changed now. Love watching Ames grow up. You're such a good mamma.
