We had an amazing Easter weekend. Despite the snow (which was not very convenient for our outside plans) we had such a happy time with the family celebrating the resurrection of Christ. I am so glad we have a holiday set apart each year where we can remember and focus on what that really means to us and recognize just how much we need Him.
I am forever grateful to Jesus Christ for coming to Earth and giving us an example of living that is beyond any kind of life I could have had without Him. I know that true happiness comes from living a life of service and purity. I am far from perfect but because of our Savior, I can be forgiven and that is the best gift of all.
Happy Easter!
We headed up to Cold Lake and went to church with Air's family. After church Grandma fed us an amazing meal!
Then the kids got a cute Easter surprise from Grandma/pa Gusa!
We all did the black "charcoal" face masks together that night. So much fun.
The next morning the Easter Bunny had hidden baskets around the house for the children to find!
Then (because of the snow) we went to the church building in Cherry Grove for an egg hunt!
Then we went to the gym for a little badminton game/candy devouring
