We’ve been doing alright, to answer your question. I have been horrible at blogging lately and that makes me sad. There’s a lot to share with the blog today so I’m gonna catch you up on some of our doings.
Aaron: Is sick. He mostly hangs out at home and tries to get his mind off his illness by doing whatever computer project or renovation job he can. Little by little he gets things done. It’s actually a huge blessing that he is able to just stay at home and focus on getting better. Working on what he wants at a pace that he is able to handle. Some days are better than others, but (from my perspective) most days seem pretty bad for him.
Me: Just feeding Alice every 3 hours of life, trying to keep up with Ames and the messes around the house. I enjoy my calling in the Relief Society presidency a lot and get to do quite a bit for that each week.
Ames: Growing up. Has the verbal skills of a 14 year old with the mind of a 2 year old. It makes for some amazingly awesome stories and ideas from him. He never stops. I don’t really want him to stop. How can I get this boy to stop growing so quickly?
Alice: Is 5 months old now. I will talk all about her in another post.
↓↓↓Ames is never very naughty, but one day he scribbled with a pen all over our computer monitor. We were shocked that he would do something so toddlerish! haha Luckily it wiped right off.//Playing at the new indoor playground near our house a few months ago. Winter is long.↓↓↓
↓↓↓3D glasses because we’re cool//As soon as the binki hits his mouth his finger starts twisting around in his hair. It started to get real when a little toy dog got caught in the knot and now we’ve pretty much solved the problem by taking away the binki for bed time and only giving it to him for naps. It was actually really simple, he is such a good kid.↓↓↓
↓↓↓Alice does funny things with her cute little fingers while she’s eating. You can also tell in this photo how much she loves eating.//We like to have the family over for dinners. Sometimes we have themes like “Asian night”. This one was sooo delicious. Tam was making pot stickers. Aaron made fried chicken. The family brought steam buns.↓↓↓
↓↓↓My February Relief Society activity where we made chocolate covered strawberries and delivered them to people in the ward. It went well and was a lot of fun.//Target Canada is closing and I’m seriously depressed over it. Although, I have been buying up the entire store for super cheap.↓↓↓
↓↓↓We’re excited that spring is in the air at last and are trying to get outside when it’s not too cold//Aaron had some temporary blindness one day and ran to emergency. They sent him to an ophthalmologist who discovered that he’s a vampire? (seriously though, we don’t know what happened but his vision is back thank goodness)↓↓↓
↓↓↓Ames just hangin around the house being happy and cute like usual. Holding Spiderman.//We had almost 2 feet of snow return out of no where on the first day of Spring! Whaaaaaat??↓↓↓
↓↓↓Sometimes I can get Alice to hold her own bottle for a feeding (at least for a minute) it’s very freeing.//Air and Ames look cool in their aviator glasses and Ames got a sweet bomber jacket from Aunty Tracey↓↓↓
↓↓↓Yet another Flat Stanley made his way to Canada from my nephew Jaden in Illinois! Yeehaw
