My favorite things at this time of year are pumpkin patches and corn mazes. It’s a wonderful way to spend our last bits of time outdoors before we’re snowed in. Which I know will come all too soon. Blah.
We found a new-to-us corn maze this year. Prairie Gardens was so much fun. They've got it all.

They had fun little shops and restaurants and even a haunted house. Ames was a big fan of all the slides and playgrounds and the bunny village. He surprised us when he wasn't scared right next to some little goats. He usually freaks out around animals.
Even though this was only two days ago I’m feeling nostalgic looking at Ames, BECAUSE (believe it or not) I finally chopped his long locks yesterday for the first time. Now he’s a big boy I guess…
